Kantegas commitment to eIDAS 2.0
Kantega is a consulting company and a pioneer in the development of eID and electronic authentication in the Nordics. We are behind two successful startups – Signicat and Kantega SSO – that have set the standard for secure digital identity in Europe. We are now turning our focus to eIDAS 2.0 and digital wallets, because we see how crucial this will be for the digital solutions of the future in Norway.
In 2022, we established KantegaID - a multidisciplinary team with specialized expertise and focus on eIDAS 2.0 and digital wallets. The team closely follows the eIDAS revision, both through the EU's eIDAS Expert Group, Norwegian authorities, and industry stakeholders. We study legislative proposals, frameworks, and architecture, and have already built pilots that test how theory can be turned into practical, functioning solutions. In addition, we are active in the national sandbox for digital wallets.
We have one clear goal: To be a strategic partner and solution architect for our customers. We help both public and private organizations explore and adopt digital wallets in a safe and effective manner, and we want to collaborate with various industries and companies to develop the best solutions.
Our experience, combined with practical testing and collaboration with the industry, gives us unique prerequisites to help businesses take the step into the new eIDAS era.
